vfilm / privacy

your information.
your choices.

how information moves when you browse, prepare an introduction or contact vfilm.

the current site prepares an email draft in your browser. sending that email, using the hosting platform and entering a later project are separate steps with different information flows.

01 / scope

a practical account
of this website.

this notice explains how information moves when you browse the vfilm website, prepare an introduction or contact the business mailbox. vfilm is the business brand used for the correspondence described here. questions about that correspondence can be sent to [email protected]. the hosting service that delivers the website, cloudflare, has its own role and notice, described below. this notice distinguishes the website's own behavior from those services.

the current website consists of static information pages and an email drafting form. it has no creator account dashboard, application database, document upload, payment form or automatic application delivery. browsing the site and sending an email are different interactions. information displayed in the browser does not become a message to vfilm merely because it appears on a completed form. the distinction matters when you decide whether to make contact.

it covers this website and initial contact with vfilm. a later review, program activity or commercial project may require a more specific explanation of the materials, people and permitted uses involved. that explanation should be agreed before additional project information is provided.

02 / the introduction form

a draft stays
in your hands.

the introduction form includes contact details, a professional location and a short description of your creative interest. it also provides optional space for a work link and relevant professional context. the information you enter supplies an email subject and body inside the current page. preparing that draft does not send an application, notify vfilm or write the information to a vfilm application database. the text remains available for you to review before deciding whether to send it.

the website code does not save the draft in browser local storage or send field contents to an ai model. the values remain in the current page until you change them, leave the page or your browser restores a session. your browser may independently offer autofill, session recovery or other features. use its settings if you want to manage those features, especially on a shared device.

“open email app” passes the prepared text to the mail software you choose. “copy introduction” asks the browser to place that text on your clipboard. review the recipient and contents before sending. text copied to a clipboard or opened in another application is then subject to that device or application's handling. you can also write a fresh message directly without using the form.

03 / email and purpose

send enough
to begin.

if you send an email to vfilm, the receiving mailbox obtains your message, sender address and the other information included in the email. that may include your name, professional location, work links, story premise, availability, attachments and the correspondence that follows. ordinary mail delivery also involves information handled by the sending and receiving email providers.

vfilm uses an initial introduction to understand your request, consider a possible creative or business fit, reply to questions and discuss appropriate next steps. a short, shareable premise and a work link are enough to begin. avoid sending identification documents, payment details, private information about other people, full unpublished scripts or materials you cannot authorize others to read.

where applicable law requires a basis for processing, responding to your request and the reasonable business interests in managing the conversation are relevant to this initial contact. a later agreement, a legal obligation or permission for a particular optional use may provide a different basis. an introduction is not a newsletter subscription or permission to publish your work. ask for clarification if a later request appears to have a different purpose.

04 / hosting and external services

the page and
the platform.

the website is hosted on cloudflare, which delivers its pages and assets and may process technical service information needed to operate the site, protect it from misuse and respond to network requests. the website is public and does not ask visitors to sign in. cloudflare's handling of that service information is described in its privacy policy. the vfilm page code does not request a visitor profile or use account information to populate the introduction form. browsing the website does not send a message to the vfilm mailbox.

the vfilm page code includes no advertising pixels, analytics service, tracking cookies or behavioral profiling. this describes the website's own code; it is not a statement that hosting, your browser or your email provider processes no data. those services may handle requests, security records, cookies or other information under their applicable terms and controls. this page does not promise a particular hosting country or residency arrangement.

fonts and artwork are served with the website. external links open services with their own privacy notices and access conditions. visiting an external service does not send it the contents of the introduction form. information you provide at that destination is governed by its own controls.

the privacy notices of any service you use describe that provider's processing and account controls. contact [email protected] with questions about the information handled directly by vfilm.

05 / creative materials

permission follows
the purpose.

an initial conversation does not give sponsors, technology providers or other creators general access to your materials. the introduction form does not automatically route information to prospective partners. a later request for access should have an identified recipient and purpose. permission to consider an introduction remains distinct from permission to circulate a full project, publish an excerpt or use a person's name or likeness in publicity.

permission for a private review is not blanket authorization for publicity, reuse or model training. a proposed use beyond the original conversation should be addressed separately, including the material concerned and any permission needed from other people. the current form does not perform model training or upload a story to a creative service. a discussion about ai on the website does not itself authorize processing of a visitor's creative material by an ai provider.

if a work link contains information about collaborators, identify your contribution and share a version you are entitled to circulate. keep access credentials and private reviewer links out of a general introduction. if confidential review is needed, discuss the recipient, access arrangements and any agreement before sending the material. more detailed project handling belongs in that project's written scope.

06 / retention and security

different records.
different lifetimes.

the website has no saved-draft account for you to delete. clearing a field changes the current page; it does not delete an email you have already sent or information retained by another application. similarly, deleting a message from your sent folder does not remove the recipient's copy. these distinctions matter when you make a correction or deletion request.

email records may remain while a conversation is active, while a related project is being discussed, or where a record is needed for administration, an agreement, a dispute or a legal requirement. this notice does not state a single fixed retention period for every kind of correspondence. the relevant purpose, sensitivity, continuing need and applicable obligations determine the appropriate handling. ask vfilm about a particular record rather than assuming it expires when a cohort ends.

service providers may retain delivery records, security logs or backups according to their own arrangements. no website can promise absolute security or immediate removal from every backup. keep the initial message proportionate to its purpose. if you believe information was misdirected or a work link exposes more than intended, contact vfilm promptly and explain which message or link is involved.

07 / your choices

questions deserve
a clear route.

you can browse the explanatory pages without filling in the introduction form, subject to the hosting platform's access requirements. you can leave optional fields empty, choose a shareable work link, revise the prepared text or decide not to send it. the website does not require payment information to begin a conversation.

depending on the laws that apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw permission where processing relies on that permission. you may also have a right to contact a relevant supervisory authority. these rights can have qualifications; a request concerning one service does not automatically change records held by another provider.

send requests concerning vfilm correspondence to [email protected]. describe the interaction and the action you want, using the original email address when practical. verification should be proportionate to the request; do not include identity documents in a first message. requests about a hosting account, an external service or your email account should be directed to that provider where it controls the information. this website is intended for professional creative and business use and does not invite personal information from young children.

08 / contact and changes

keep the notice
close to the work.

contact [email protected] with a privacy question, a correction to an introduction or a concern about material shared during a conversation. name the relevant page, date or project where possible. distinguish a request about business correspondence from a request about a hosting account so it can be directed appropriately. you do not need to send a full creative package to ask how it would be handled.

the date at the top identifies this website notice's current revision. if the website gains a new collection feature, such as uploads, stored applications, subscriptions or embedded services, this notice should describe the changed flow before visitors are asked to use it. a later project agreement may add specific information without changing how the present static form works. review the notice again when the activity or requested material changes.
